Another exhibitor from the ART sector will be the absolutely legendary ( literally!!! ) "landscape" artist Roger Dean! Roger designed exquisite work for YES, Osibisa, Atomic Rooster, Focus, Gentle Giant, Uriah Heep, Asia, Budgie, etc...and arguably set THE tone and benchmark for album art in the 60s, 70s and beyond, that literally transported millions of us listening to the music and experiencing the other worldly landscapes on beautiful sleeves. He has been a tremendous inspiration to many artists since, including myself indirectly with my own lyrical abstraction landscapes. He will be selling work, available for signing and a chat.
The musical line up is stunning this year! Featuring Wilson and Wakeman, Toyah Wilcox and Robert Fripp, Merry Hell, Nile Rodgers and Chic, 10CC, Fisherman's Friends, Strawbs, Kiki Dee and Carmelo Lugeri, Gilbert O'Sullivan, as well as a certain Folk Rock band hosting the whole thing: Fairport Convention. It runs over three days near Banbury, Oxfordshire on the second weekend in August.
